In order to reach the masses across the strata through the powerful media of audio-visuals, we have produced a Telefeature film "Maazi Goshta" relating to various aspects of “Schizophrenia” and allied mental disorders. The illness of schizophrenia knows no barriers of creed, cast, age, qualification etc. and it can affect anyone around us. It is a biochemical phenomenon affecting the functioning of the brain and has to be treated just as any physical ailment viz. cardiac, diabetes etc.
The film is a dramatized story of a patient who has been bestowed upon a sense of creation/composition in music and who on the way back to his returning to mainstream, accepts a challenge of public performance and fulfils it along with other sufferers. He has taken a memory lane of his life through his diary.
The film has been produced in professional format with best telecast quality and will be screened on cinemascope. Duration of film is 100 minutes with interval. Besides a good story, the film also covers all aspects of mental disorder engrossed in a captivating manner.
